Marana - Melbourne "Mel" Ames of Marana, Arizona passed away on January 19, 2022. He is survived by his children Robert, Richard & Shelly; grandchildren Sierra, Chelsea, Sean, Marty, Victoria & Brittany; great-grandchildren, as well as his sister Rebecca and brothers John & Keith. Mel was preceded in death by his son Michael. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Memorial Services will be held at Sun and Shield Baptist Church in Marana Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 10:00 am. Reception to follow.
