Tucson, Arizona - Mary F. Ainuu, beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on January 11, 2022 in Tucson, Arizona.
Mary was the second oldest child of Fuauli T. and Mele V. Falo. She was born in Utulei, American Samoa and grew up in San Francisco, CA. She met her husband, Cheney, in Carson, CA and married him in 1985. Together, they had four daughters and adopted a son. Mary's faith in God motivated and guided her life. Serving in the Army Reserve, mentoring women and teaching Sunday School, and being a caregiver to her widowed mother are just a few examples of her service to God and others. Mary's legacy is her children. She devoted her life to raising, homeschooling, and caring for them.
Mary was the brightest, most beautiful light. She loved to laugh and have fun. She impacted everyone with her kindness, generosity, and humor. She always shared her faith and encouraged everyone to seek God. She is survived by her husband, children, siblings, and many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.
A funeral service will be held on January 27, 2022 at 11 AM at the Marana Mortuary Cemetery in Marana, AZ. Anyone who loved Mary and would like to pay their respects is welcome to attend.
